Emily King's a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter born and raised in Manhattan's Lower-East Side. King recently released the critically acclaimed EP 'Seven', touring and playing live with the likes of Maroon 5, John Legend, Emeli Sande, Alicia Keys, Aloe Blacc Sara Bareilles and countless others along the way. King celebrates her roots, pop, soul, and indie influences by carefully crafting compositions that serve as the perfect vehicle for her polished, lush vocals.Emily has had an illustrious career thus far. She signed with J Records in 2004 which led her to releasing her Grammy nominated album East Side Story in August 2007. East Side Story opened the door for Emily to tour with creative artist like John Legend and Floetry as well as open up for various talents such as Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu, Chaka Khan, Maroon 5 and hip-hop royalty Nas. In 2008, she continued her career by working independently of her former J Records partners.
